Welcome to Education Week: “Celebrating Today, Preparing for Tomorrow”

This year for Education Week we are taking some time to celebrate the great things happening in our school as we prepare students for the future.  We will start the week off with Ice Cream Sundaes for all our students on  Sundae Monday as we celebrate our community’s efforts to raise $6 600 for Terry Fox.  All week long we will be recognizing students by awarding them with “Caught Ya” draw ballots for their positive contributions.  We will wrap up the week with some fun a staff vs student volleyball teams game.  Here is what else is happening…

Monday, Day 5

-          Sundae Monday
-          Girls Volleyball home game vs Hannah
-          Coding Club at noon
-          Sr. Flag football playoffs Game 1: Leopards Vs Tigers (weather permitting)
-          Gr 7 Canoeing AM (Fiorante)
-          “Caught Ya” begins
-          Picture orders due

Tuesday, Day 1

-          Knoll Feeder Volleyball Tournament
-          JLT meeting at noon
-          Band sectionals
-          Girls volleyball practice AM
-          Sr. Flag football playoffs Game 2: Panthers Vs Cheetahs (weather permitting)

Wednesday, Day 2

-          Grade 6 Smith class at Flying Creek
-          Grade 3 at Browns Coulee
-          Senior Choir at noon
-          Pizza Hut lunch day
-          Grade 1 Art Club at noon
-          Grade 7 & 8  woodwind band students at U of R Woodwind Days (AM)
-          Sr. Flag football playoffs Game 3: Lions Vs Game 1 Winner (weather permitting)
-          SCC meeting at 6:30pm.  Everyone is welcome.  Childcare is provided. 

Thursday, Day 3

-          Full Band Cancelled
-          Communication Preschool field trip to Floral Conservatory
-          Boys Volleyball home game  Vs Ready
-          Girls Volleyball practice AM
-          Grade 2 Art Club at noon

Friday Day 4

-          Sr. Flag football finals: Game 2 Winner Vs Game 3 Winner (weather permitting)
-          Staff V Student Volleyball Game (PM)
